did anyone hear that the new cobra wont be an SVT model but a shelby model? and it should have 550hp, according to motor trend anyways jus wondering

 

It's already been discussed ad nauseam. If you search you'll find the thread.

 

I think that article is misleading. It never says it will replace the Cobra altogether. It says it will replace the Cobra as the top Mustang. SVT is making an announcement at the New York Auto Show next month. We will see then (hopefully).

I think they meant there will stil lbe a Corba, but it won't be top dog anymore. The Shelby will be top of the line. CObra wil lprolly be more performance with no luxury.
Shelby will be about performance and luxury. Kinda like the old Cougar's where.
My grandfather had one.
XR-7, my dad drove it for a few years, then sold it to get a Ranchero with a 4 on the floor and a 400 big block under the hood. Still has it to this day, hauls nuts!
