remember how Shelby made that 1992 convertible SAC MKII (or something like that) which was priced @ $48k? they didn't sell(cool rims though), I hope he learned from that experience. Maybe this Shelby will be a Shelby Cobra Mustang, and FORD will produce a Shelby GT350 Mustang or maybe the other way around. Here's hoping FORD comes thru!

I'm one that thinks you can double or so the price of the car. Beyond that you're in crack-smoking land. If you come out with a $50K Stang ($60K with taxes, options, etc.), that's sane. But you could have 4 1/2 GT's, or one Shelby? I think we're going a little overboard.

For $110K, I'll go out and buy a REAL 289 Cobra.

I am sure the car with the Ford GT motor will be very limited and very exclusive, enough for the Jay Leno's and Sultan of Brunei to afford.

I agree with Kevin, a hopped up GT350 would be a nice car between the GT and Cobra

427s maybe, but there is guy locally that sold his original 289 for $92K about 2 years ago. Granted, it wasn't even close to show car, but he said the market on them has really fallen off from their peak.

It will be a GT500. The conversion parts WILL be available after the cars release. The number they are looking to make is 300, but will probibly be lower.

They where working on the Shelby Expedition. No pic... Mustang was more important.

Well, the pics were obviously taken in Vegas at the Shelby Shop at the Las Vegas International Speedway. They have a huge warehouse out there......and use the track and the road course throughout the year.

But anything over 100k is not even worth me reading about. Why tangle my thoughts up in something I can't even afford to think about.

oooh woopty doo, the old geezers gonna tinker with it, then steal our wallets, checkbooks, and credit cards...
I was always a big fan of the 65-68 shelbys, but every since he started selling his GT500E and GT350SR for $100,000-$160,000, i've lost a lot of respect. Anymore I think he just wants to slap his name on something to make some money. I'd love to see the new one at $50,000 or less, but I don't think it's going to happen. One thing is for sure, if it does cost $100,000+, it better blow the doors of any production corvette and viper out there or someone has some explaining to do Now, where's that SVT....

110k for a modified Mustang??? Palease, I hope that's Canadian. Even with a new motor and everything is crazy. Either way, I'd just get a GT and mod it myself for a heck of a lot less and probably come pretty darn close in performance. Anything more then roughly 45k for a Mustang is just insane, please put down the crack pipe like previously stated.

They are going to show a Shelby Expedition at SEMA in November. What is that going to cost? I called Shelby American in Vegas when I found out I was going to SEMA and the receptionist mentioned a GT350, but she had no details and after a few minutes of having me on hold she would not confirm anything. Let's just hope if there is a GT350, the price will a little more realistic.

Actually the $110K Mustang will open a can of whoop-a** on ANYTHING with wheels.

It will also lift you into low earth orbit.
