wondering if anybody out there might know of any information on the 05 saleen S-281. To be more specifec I am wanting as much info. on the nose/front bumper & grill as well as the hood, anybody have knowledge as to a ballpark price for the piece's above. Any info would be much appreciated/helpful. Thanks

Here's a little. Saleen's website says "around $ 38K for the non supercharged, just under$ 45K for the supercharged." But this is not the case from a dealership here in GA. Their MSRP quote form, to them from Saleen, is $46,134.00. :angry: Their MSRP form also says that the Shaker 500 stereo is an additonal $ 665.00, which contradicts other info straight from Saleen that says that this is offered standard. :scratch: So I don't know what to tell you my friend. I'm trying to get a straight answer from someone myself. If anyone can help us out, it would be appreciated.

I think the Saleen pricing listed on-line is FOB California USA. Your price quoted might include the fright from Irvine. I think the fright is usually about $1000.00.

Do you have a list of optins? Is it a factory color? Saleen has lots of options that can ad up quickly.

For just the parts, Saleen always holds back on new vehicle parts for a while for production purposes.

I asked my dealer the same thing and he said that wuz the info given to them from Saleen for the MSRP, freight and all that other stuff extra. I have a printout of the s281 s/c spec sheet from Saleen as well but no prices. Just quotes from my dealer (which is a very good friend of mine's dad). He's trying to get something set in stone but...just waitng for the day when I drive her home
