My local dealer has a stage 2 coupe for only $41K. Golly no supercharger at that price.
Stage 3 vert ... Maybe those inflated Shelby prices aren't that bad.

Roush is a ripoff.you get a very wimpy s/c(415hp on stock gt vs. 600+hp on other s/c's),a bodykit, and some suspension and interior upgrades for almost 50k.Do you think that is a good deal? Nope.

RandyB, the final pic. looks great on the Blue.

Roush had informed me " the long curved tube " was created to control the airflow in association with the boost level and S/C System design. They required a total re-design of the S/C airflow system with regards to the 3V AL Motor.

I'm partial to the Torch Red.

I think Roush did an exceptional job on the design and engineering of this kit. I'll be ordering one very shortly. The only thing I don't like is the look of the intercooler coolant tank, and I plan to relocate my P/S reservoir and use the GT500 coolant tank as soon as I can get my hands on one. I'll post pics when I'm done although it may be a month or two before GT500 parts are available.
Roush has recently changed the look and location of the intercooler coolant tank. Pics. are on the roushperf.com site. Also, some on goroush.com

these changes will be present on the upcoming Stage 3s as well.

regarding the power output of the Roush S/C, the 430 hp threashold is the limit with the conservative pulley and associated tune to prevent damage to the factory Motor. This has been determined by testing in the Development Racing Group. Future plans include offering modifications for several sizes of pully and tune setups - after they complete development of their 2008 Mod 3V 4.6L "built motor".

I noticed they changed the design of the coolant tank to a more aesthetically pleasing piece, but low and behold my kit just arrived with the old style tank. I probably would have still opted for the GT500 as it also looks to be a little larger.

the GT500's should be larger in order to run with the higher output blower.

Although, the Roush one is, by design, adequate to work with their system.

Curious as to when the order was placed for the Roush SC Kit as it may have been up until completion of the current Stage 3 design before they started releasing the new tank with it. Around April 24 th it was official.

It was drop-shipped straight from Roush, and the boxes indicated that it was packed on 5-12, so I thought it might be the latest one. My supercharger has some CNC notches cut into each side back by where the fuel line goes over it, which I haven't seen on anyone's Roushchargers yet. It looks like a production-type move, making sure there is ample clearance. Do you know who Roush gets their fasteners from? I like the gold-ish looking ones(zinc-plated?), and wouldn't mind having them throughout.

Not sure where Roush gets the fasteners from - but i could ask and attempt to find out thru my Dealer connections. I am also considering the RoushCharger for my Custom Stg 1 and is interested in all this as well.

It ought to have been the latest one as their Factory began work on the Stage 3s on May 1st and they are supposed to be shipping to the Dealers this week.

Roush is concerned with clearance issues as other Tuners' SC-ers have had fitment issues with the S197 and they wanted the OEM look but not too tight a fit. Hence, another reason for the choice with the Roots-Style where the SC is not sitting in front of the motor cluttering it all up in there.

Question

Can you tell me where you saw the Intercoolant tank on roushperf.com site?
