Roush leasing...??

I was told by a dealer that it possible to NOW lease the Roush Mustang. It used to be that they would only lease on the price of the GT without the Roush package added. Now he is saying that they (Ford) will lease on the total amount of the car with the Roush package added.

Has anyone heard of this?? is this now true??

thanks

Mark

Funny! How persuasive a little sales slump can be.

Thanks, Ford dealers.

Salespeople, finance people, and for that matter, most dealership staff involved with a vehicle purchase don't know S@#!

These people probably would forget to feed themselves if given the opportunity.

There might be some company which would do a lease. They would probably charge the full cost of the Roush package and the only residual would be the base Mustang GT.
Just for example: If the Mustang residual is 50% after 3 years (@ $14,000) and the Roush pkg. is $14,000, they would want you to pay $28,000 plus fees over 36 months. That would be $777 per month plus fees including interest. The fees should be under $200 a month.
If you have the money to make the payments, you can lease anything.

Actually Ford Motor Credit has always allowed 75% cost of the Roush Package to be added to the invoice wether financing or leasing. However, even with that said: A Roush Stage 1 is lets say 40k, now take into consideration 50% residual = to 20k, and that would mean that over the course of 3 years you would have to pay the 50% + tax + a lease factor. So although you can lease it, the option does not seem that advantagous.
