Steeda has just introduced their new Q445 supercharged engine program. Designed and engineered by Steeda and Magnuson engineers and competition proven prior to its release, the new Q445 system with intercooler and a large Steeda designed heat exchanger produces 445 horsepower and 440 ft.lbs. of torque. With the advent of the new heat exchanger, the inlet temps stay cool insuring no loss of horsepower in extreme heat or applications. The Q445 is Steeda's intermediate supercharger system, with the company's flagship, the Q525 the top of the line with 580 horsepower.

Thats impressive there from the Steeda, the Saleen Supercharger is good for 475 HP on the stock motor, you can get to 600 HP if you forge up the bottom end. But with the Stock Saleen, and the upgrade kit you are good for a reliable 475 Hp at a 11:1 ratio. Pretty safe right there

Saleen likes to quote flywheel numbers (inflated), not rear wheel.

We've been very busy with the new Steeda/Magnusons and our dealer program the last month and a half. We've seen 415 to 430 rear wheel horse power on 5 speed cars, depending on exhaust and whether or not the customer is using our CAI.

The Steeda Q cars are built to order and available through any Ford dealer, however, we recommend having you and the dealer contact us. That way we can set the car up for your needs.

The 2006 Steeda pictured is a Q 335 Model. All Steeda Mustangs can be ordered through any Ford dealer.equip the Mustang GT with your options you desire. Have the dealer contact Steeda, equip the car with the Steeda Q Model you want. Check steeda.com for model equipment .
Ford will build the Mustang and drop ship the car to the Steeda Campus in Pompano Beachm FL. When completed, you can have the car shipped u to your Ford dealer or fly to Ft. Lauderdale. tour the campus, meet the people who built the car and drive home.

That's nice but it still doesn't answer the question if the motor has been beefed up to handle the stress and strain from the blower.

I contacted Steeda and they said anything over 450 hp you should have forged internals. The Q525 comes with forged internals, also they mentioned that the Q525 is capable of over 600 hp with the proper external modifications, while maintaining durability....

How does financing work with Steeda products? Will Ford Motor Credit finance the entire vehicle or only the Ford part? How does the warranty work on the Steeda parts and who services them? We have an awesome Steeda dealer here in Kernersville, NC.

You finance the entire purchase through your Ford dealer or other credit provider.

The warranty on Steeda items is 3yr, 36,000, matching Ford's 3yr, 36,000 mile warranty for the vehicle itself.

Any Ford dealer can service the vehicle. If there is an issue that might be related to Steeda products the dealer must contact us for proper diagnostics and if it is a Steeda part at fault, warranty reinbursement.
