I saw that a while ago, it's an awesome test. I like the Roush better. I'd like to see a comparison between a reasonably modified Stang, and a companies car like Roush, Shelby, etc

Cool video!
I'm ALSO wondering how the Saleen is 300lbs lighter.

Yeah when all other weight figures list the Saleen at 3500lb plus
No mention of the bigger heavier 20 inch wheels related to the times either on the Saleen compared to the Roush on 18s

I feel it must be the 20" wheels. The Saleen twin screw SC with a 475 hp tune has a good deal more power than the Roush roots based charger at 435HP.
The Saleen car would actually weigh about 3620lbs dry and about 3680 with 1/2 tank of gas. That's with the SC, larger wheels and larger brake upgrades
My Mustang GT with 18" wheels and the basic Saleen SC tune was faster than my friends SC Roush when we'd pull together in LA, and my car weighed about 3585lbs then with 430 flywheel HP. Erik
