A scoop that does what?
Just sits there?

if you hate scoops, you hate classic shelby mustang cobras
Side scoops at the right angle re-direct air over the spoiler to help keep down the rear end. That's what shelby used them for. now, race cars just use big #%@ spoilers instead. i personally would rather have side scoops and a ducktail. i'm not a fan of fake scoops, but if they are even a little functional, i'll take em. :tex:
Wouldn't the Shelby quarter scoops be functional since the vents they replaced are functional?
Not sure about the 67/68 Shelby, but I KNOW the '66 GT 350 side scoops were functional.

the Saleen looks like it has the same type of rubber trim that was on the quarter windows in the Fox Mustangs.... 87-93. I know those got all cracked and brittle and really looked like doo doo a few years old. I imagine that will be the same with the Saleen window. I don't see the point of something like that other than creating more drag. If they're going to do something like that, might as well go all the way and coll the rear suspension and breaks.

[/b][/quote]I'm with Lalo. Ever since I saw the 05, I wanted scoops for it. Anywhere. Hood, 3/4, headlight, door panel, all seem good to me.
