The region has stated that NO decision has been made as of yet on whether the Shelby will or won't be produced. As of now we are being told to tell perspective customers that there has been no corporate decision to go ahead with the program.

The Mustang II wasn't a mistake, ford sold a million of them! They would kill to have that kinda sales today. The II was motor trend car of the year, and widely acclaimed in 74 when it debuted during the Gas Crisis. And a 75 302 2V Mustang II is about as fast as a 65 289 2V Mustang. It was the right car at the right time. Ford would have made a mistake if they kept making the Stang fatter in the 70's and turned it into a Luxury car like they did with the thunderbird. Without the II there wouldn't be an 05.
