Wow Brad I look at it like being there at a Historical Event ! Gotta be in awe to say the least , just as before be yourself when your there. Gee they oughta put a Shelby in a time capsual for a major furture even with a 5 gal gas can, just incase we do not have any more when they would unseal it. Just to keep 1 in pristeen condition. I heard last week this happened somewhere with a 1950's GM product in a vault to be open soon Have Fun ! and take pictures. PS Mr.Shelby should be a member here ! is he not on All Ford Mustang ?

Two questions:
1) Brad; How lucky are you to get to sit down with HTT and CS and the rest of that group? You are one lucky dude!!!Maybe I should ask for your autograph?
2) Carrol Shelby; How would you compare the new GT500 to the early 67,68 GT500's as far as collectable/future value's?
3) Carrol Shelby; As this new GT500 comes to market, what are your thoughts about it compared to what you thought about the first Mustang you put your name on?
Brad you are so dang lucky,,,,,,,,,,,,,( I have to admit I'm a bit jeleous) I goot an idea, Brad could you get Carrol to autograph a knapkin for me..... JK.

Realizing that we won't get top secret answers out of those guys, first off please thank them for jobs well done on the new S197 Chassis...I think collectively as Mustang enthusiasts we love the new car.
I would ask that you stress to Hau that we truely LOVE the Mustang and all it represents and that the enthusiast should always kept in mind when designing things for the Stang.
We also do not want to be breathing the exhaust of some other car out there due to us having a lack of factory horsepower, of course cars like the Corvette and Viper are exceptions, as they are not in our demographic...but the GTO, Challengers and Chargers are, we want to stay competitive with them all!!
I would ask also that the Mustang stay a Mustang, much as they have done now, I always want to see styling ques from other generations in my favorite car!
Engine OPTIONS are a good thing!
We all lust for SE's and we hope that we get some SOON! All I have owned have been SE Mustangs and only have great things to say about them and how they make me feel when driving them.
Thats about it really, I know Hau knows his job, We appreciate him and Ford for our car, we continue to thank Ford for not giving up on the Mustang and look forward to even greater examples of the breed!
Have a good time!

Somehow I guess my two end up being marketing questions, but may provide good insight.
Question 1: Have any of you driven a recent vintage Australian Falcon, and what are your thoughts on the marketability of a vehicle of that type in the domestic market.
Question 2: There have been many examples of engines becoming marketing tools for vehicles and brands. HEMI is the most recent example. Does Ford need a marketable engine technology to compete with Chrysler Co?

At our last dinner, Carroll picked up the first bottle of wine we drank, signed it, and said "hang onto this."

I will repeat my question I once asked :
what do they think about the fact that Ford Motor Company neglects thousands of potential customers in Europe(mention the fact that many people love the car and import it on their own, mention hundreds of clubs and Mustang meetings in Europe)

Don't kid yourself--selling Mustangs is about the bottom line. If Ford felt that it was economically feasible to export them to Europe, they would. But that would require either building another plant or reducing production of the Mazda6.
V6 4.0. The V6 4.0 has brought a real enthusiast interest to what was previously considered just a '....base model...' or a car that was mostly popular with fleet sales to car rental fleets. Any thoughts on the V6 4.0 specifically? When designing the car, what thoughts were given to using the 4.0 engine or were other engines considered?

Look at the signature, I know its not easy to sign a bottle, and I know c.s. signature is not very easy... but even if he says he is feeling like a kid with the new heart... he is getting OLD...
PS: Or maybe he was kinda drunk... that would explain a lot of his lattest decisions LOL.

[COLOR=blue]Will there ever be a revitalizing of the NHRA Pro Stock program? GM and Mopar have breathed new life into their programs with a new engine block and cylinder heads. Will Ford ever return to the glory days when Bob Glidden championed the blue oval?

This is a great event ... a lot of my questions will have to go unanswered saddly since they are about future editions ... however ... I do have one question and maybe it tickles the ... do not ask yet rule:
How about a GT 350????
Basiclly can you ask if a non supercharged version of a Shelby mustang is possible? Something in the high 300 HP range would be a great addition to the line up.
Please ask them why super chargers are used? Why use a naturally asperated motor instead?
thanks

Brad: Be sure to bring a tape recorder (a small one), if you can, or take a lot of notes. And please write a full report for us all, eh?
