Paul's High Performance Mustang...
Interesting thet the engine seems to be sitting a bit high in the engine bay. It also appears to have a cast aluminium intake or perhaps they just painted the factory intake silver.
Its still the 3 valve though the valve covers make that obvious.

The other thing that people seem to be overlooking.... that's not a 4.6 sitting in the engine bay! That's a 3V 5.4L, which explains the reasoning for the oversized cowl hood. I'm wondering exactly what good that cowl is going to do anyway, considering the air intake and throttle body are located at the FRONT of the engine bay/motor, and not the BACK, where all that air is going to be channeled.
Paul's High Performance Mustang's have traditionally used Classic Design Concepts esthetic parts...side pipes, ect...
I would expect these parts to show up in the CDC catalog!!!
Minus the hood of course...

I really don't like the hood & it seems like there is too much red there. Then again I hate the color red on a car (the last 3 cars my mom had was red, the 1st car I remember her driving had red interior, so I am sick of the color).
I like the overall look of the car just minus the red & the hood. JMO. Cheers mates.

I always hated cowl hood unless you have no choice for clearance. The ducktail is actaully pretty darn close to retro, I'd have to see better pics but it may be the best one yet, along with the front spoiler.
The ducktail is perfection! Louvered quarter windows look good too. As well as the black out between the taillights.
The hood is required for the engine, so no problem with it on a drag car. Now, if i see a V6 driving down the road with that hood, then i will point and laugh. But, it is needed for this car. As someone else pointed out, that is a 5.4 based engine. Who knows what the displacement is at this point though. It may be bored and stroked to a 6.0, for all we know. But this is the reason for the hood.
Looking at the back of that car though, makes me think Ford should have put that ducktail on the Mustang from the factory. It looks perfect!
Sorry, repeating myself.

Edit: As a side note I notice they changed the mirrors and painted them torch red to match the body. Those mirrors are perfect for this new body IMO.
