Why is it my first thought upon reading this was "Which one of you is the U-boat commander"???
The listing says it has a salvage title. As such the car would never have any significant resale value. As far as purchasing it with an eye towards restoring it goes, I would say that the potential that it has insurmountable structural damage is high. In any event I wouldn't consider it for anything other that its salvage/parts value.

even though its a saleen, with a salvage title any resale is ruined. With all the work involved in getting that car roadworthy, you're better off buying a new car. The entire rear structure is bent up.
