That engine is flawless though so anything less than 4K would be a steal. I'm willing to bet it would cost maybe a total of 12K to have that Saleen back in great condition.

The listing says it has a salvage title. As such the car would never have any significant resale value. As far as purchasing it with an eye towards restoring it goes, I would say that the potential that it has insurmountable structural damage is high. In any event I wouldn't consider it for anything other that its salvage/parts value.

I totally agree...

even though its a saleen, with a salvage title any resale is ruined. With all the work involved in getting that car roadworthy, you're better off buying a new car. The entire rear structure is bent up.
