Well There is No IUP Offered on the New Cobra, It Has an Allominum Dash But It Is Patterned Just Like My Mom's 92 Lincoln Mark VII LSC.

No? So then what's this? Maybe I'm confused as to what IUP actually is...?
Either way I love it just fine!

Edit: I just noticed something from the pictures. Speakers? Where'd they go?

I like this interior much better. That is leather on the dash. IT looks very much like the M3 leather and stitching.

IUP Refers to the INTERIOR UPGRADE PACKAGE. The Alluminum Trim on the Dash, My Color Guages, and Alluminum Trim on the Steering Wheel and Shifter!
What I was Refering to Is That There Will Be No Upgrade Package on the Shelby Cobra. What You See is What You Get.

The Shelby Cobra has Most of the IUP Pieces But The Alluminum on the Dash is Painted With This Pattern On It EXACTLY Like My Mom's 92 Lincoln Mark VII LSC, and My Old 92 Lincoln Mark VII LSC!

Nice resolution on that picture -- do you have the other media shots in that same resolution?

Hey, I like that. Looks - to me at least - much better than the aluminum that is being used in the IUP. Kind of like a modern version of it. Wonder if that will be something that will be available as an upgrade to the GT. Probably not, but, the dash is the same so it should be indirectly available through Ford parts.

The speakers are moved up from where they are in the GT. They are flush with just the door cover over the spot.. look for the holes.

Those Speakers are There On ALL 2005 Musatangs! What He's Refering to are the Sub's In the Bottom of the Doors. I Guess This Car Doesn't Have the Shaker 500 or 1000 in it.

Sorry, didn't notice the speakers before when I test drove the GT. I figured that he meant the subs. Perhaps since this is a concept car (90% done) they just didn't add the subs. I would bet that the openings are still there and the subs can be added.

We need to remember this is a show car, not a production car. Things like missing Shaker subs, etc don't mean very much on this car.

Well at Least It's Different from a GT but as for it being a "Modern Version of It" Ford has Been Using this Paint Texture since the Early 80's and 90's. The Biggest Problem with this Painted Trim is It Scratches Off Very Easily and Looks Like Crap When It Does!

Trust Me, I took all of the Interior Trim Out of My Mark VII LSC and Sanded All of the Paint Off of It because of Small Nicks and Scratches in it, and Polished It For a Nice Brushed Alluminum Look. It Looked 100% Better. I Got Ton's of Compliments About It. So Needless to say, I Like the GT's Alluminum Better Than This!

As For Getting It for your GT or V6, It Should Be No Problem to Get the Trim From Ford if You Really Want It Though. But I Bet It Will Cost A Lot More than the IUP Trim. Simply Because it's Shelby/Cobra Specific.
