Anyone have any guesses how many horses the new mach is gonna be pushing. I've read rumors of 340, 350 horses. i'm hoping it's a little closer to 400.

Why? I've always believed choice is a good thing.

Too many? Maybe just poorly executed. An overpriced ox-cart--albeit a name-brand one with lots of power--and a california sticker special (also likely to be overpriced.)

Lets hope they can do this Mach as well as they did the 03-04 version. Those cars were actually worth the price premium over the GT.

Ford should put 32 value 5.0 cam motor in it. to get 375hp out of it.

Roush!?

If it looks as terrible as a Roush Mustang, it'll make keeping the GT a VERY easy decision!

I would imagine Roush is doing the engineering, not the body design.

Too many SE Mustangs? Compared to the late '69-'70 era, we've got almost zip. Back then they had the base 'stang, the GT, the Grande, the Mach1, Several Boss models, The Shelbys ALL available at the same time (and I probably missed one or two)

Choice is a good thing. Bring 'em on I say

As far as a production model S197 Mach1 goes, another Mustang variant (not the California Special or GT500) is also in the works. Wheter we'll see that variant or the Mach1 first depends on economic conditions.
The article does not quote specifically that a mach1 will be returning. It seems to cast doubt on the exact name of the car.

Well I talk with someone I know , works at Roush today, Roush will work on New Mach1 32 Value V8 motor it will maybe get 425hp . with 6speed man & a 6speed auto. but Roush will not work on the body of the car.
