I'm assuming msrp + tax and liscense will be in the 45K range. So that's what I'm paying. I'm suppose to be #1 on the list and they have accepted a check for the car at msrp.

I've never paid 45 for a car for me, though the wife just got an new acura mdx. I'm in the midst of selling my house to buy a new one and it's pretty much paid off. Can you guess where my 45 k is coming from.

Best part of it, is that I told the wife about the car and she said, well darn you have to have that! And.....she's stacked. GOOD darn WOMAN.
Did you give the dealer money already?

RE READING MY POST I realize that it is a bit misleading. I gave the dealer a check, but it was just a grand for a deposit (not the whole thing). They said that was sufficient. Good to go.

Aww, c'mon, post your collection!! I have about 265 total with 255 out on display. Favorite you ask??.....hmmmm, very hard but i'd say the Lane Camee Edelbrock Shelby. It was the 1st time i spent over $100 on a single diecast.
Do you have a close up shot of your Shelby?

Whew, I originally thought you gave him a check for the WHOLE amount!

Where's the 30-35K choice?

That would have been the GT500 without the Carroll Shelby signature.

Still bitter are we? Why can't you just deal with the fact that there will always be something bigger, better and faster? :stubborn: You come across as a complete immature baby that can't get what he wants. :nono:

$40-$45k, but it needs to be a convertible. Oh, yeah, and no mark up.

You missed that one slugger, rather poorly.

Bitterness is reserved for those who fail, specially those who whine about others. Not to brag, but, I am quite content with my success. Perhaps always getting what I want has a little to do with it.

You might like to consider taking some extra batting practice.

For most of us, the Mustang is about affordable performance hence the $35 - $40K price range without dealer mark-ups.

Umm....maybe we should form start a grass roots initiative...Ford Owners Against Mark-ups or FOAM

Might as well start a thread titled "Who wants to pay less for a car". :bang: Of course everyone will pick the cheapest price up there. With a likely MSRP of $40000, they will be at LEAST $40-$45K out the door. And I'm pretty sure anyone who REALLY wants it will pay SOME dealer mark-up if that's what they are bringing in their respective area.

Well...old cobra plus cash money makes me an extended part of the SVT family.
