hood lift

i have a 06 gt..has anyone installed the mrt hood lift?any problems w the hinge area bulging? i heard light aftermarket hoods are to light..whereas the fac aluminum works fine...??

I have MRT hood lifts on mine and have no issues (stock hood) ~

I have the CDC hood lifts (they look exactly the same as the MRT ones) and they work absolutely fantastic. I have the stock hood.

CDC here also with factory hood and no problems...

well i ordered the mrt's ,looks like a good unit.also looks exactly like the cdc

Whats the price diff? Which ones are the bolt ons (no screws, drilling or riviting).

Please excuse my quick lift ignorance.

I actuall have a set on my G6 and they work like a champ but
I would rather have a set for the Mustang that just bolt up.

My stock hood has a big hole in it.
