Since there will be a California Special, does anyone know if there are plans for a High Country Special for us folks in Colorado?

Never know, they could do the GT/CS for a one year run, tweak it or change it a bit, and then make it a High Country for the following year. Mostly inexpensive and caters to more people that way.

I'm not counting on it but I could see Ford doing one fairly easy.

My post was a polite way of saying "You're out of your freakin' mind".

What about a fried chicken special for those of us here in the south?

Edit: with a new special color.... like crispy batter brown?

You guys act like the idea of a High Country Special is completely ridiculous. Ford built them from '66 to '68. Granted, I never thought the odds were good that Ford might make them today, but it's not completely out of the question.

HC Specials were built from 66-68.
66 and 67 were available in 3 colors, Columbine Blue, Aspen Gold or Timberline Green. They were distingused by a brass fender bade. Woopee.

The 68 was the same as a Calif Spcl except it didnt have a chrome script on the quarter the CS had. Available in any body style any factory color.
Do we really need another HC?
