Your story on the main page states that the production run for the Shelby Cobra GT500 will be 2 to 3 years. Well, I posted information 3 months ago that it could be just a 2 year run and you locked the thread . . . practically calling me a liar for posting false information because you had talked to the Ford execs and they didn't tell you.

Well what do you have to say for yourself now? :bang:

Its was wild speculation then. Even now there is still nothing set in stone. The fox body was only supposed to be around for 10 years so ford isnt great with deadlines.

You joined the forum barely 2 months ago, and have less than 2 dozen posts... those comments aren't how you earn respect dude.

I posted over a year ago that I thought the next SVT would be a Shelby - but that was just my opinion, not everyone shared it. I didn't call them out when it turned out to be accurate. Sometimes you get lucky.

Also jsut to play devils advocate, I have heard plenty of people say that it would be a 2 year run, many say 3+ and some say it wouldn't happen at all. So when another person comes along and starts a thread with info that may or may not be true, youll have to excuse us if we don't flip out about it. Though i do agree there was very little dicussion before hhe shut it down, there really isn't any reason to get bent out of shape. There were plenty of threads on the same topics so it was probably more of nix of a redundant thread, not a personal insult, it seems like the mod was just voicing his opinion as he closed it.
