I'm in the drive-thru at lunch today, and I spot a very dirty black 05 GT. Spoiler delete, very black tinted windows, removed fake gas cap, and a small square badge where the fake gas cap should be.
Watch out if you in the Austin area, this guy is stealth.
Don't street race him either. :cop:

I guess so
The tint was very dark, and I did not get a good look inside. It had a black interior and no IUP, but the seats were so dark, that I could not see if there was anything sitting in them.

If it is not real, somone has a sick sense of humor. I hope it is not real. This was right near my work, and I've been known to "move a little quick" from time to time.
This was in north Austin, at the Taco Bell near Braker and Burnet Rd. I was looking at the car for a few seconds before I saw the badge, then I had to scramble to get my camera out.

The thing that seems odd is that Ford never put "police interceptor" badges on their police Mustangs to my knowledge.
If you happen to see the vehicle again look in the front grill and headlights for hid-away strobes, that would be a dead give away. All emergency vehicles must have some sort of emergency lights for pursuit.
Also, was the liscence plate a municipal plate?
Even though its a undercover vehicle it still has to have municipal plates.
I'll admit it would be very cool if that were a real police vehicle but I think the only other way you may find out besides getting pulled over is to tak another look.

No, I did not see lights. I tried to look in, but it was tinted too dark. No, it was a regular license plate. I just black out all plates I post on the web out of habbit.
Like I said ealier, I hope it is NOT a real cop. I would prefer them to drive neon orange busses.

I doubt it's a police vehicle. It would have 'Texas EXEMPT' plates. Those stickers look like someone's 'mod' to cover up the holes where someone probably stole his emblem. I see those PI stickers on Crown Vics all the time. You can get those anywhere.
Although, Austin PD has discussed using plain, unmarked cars for traffic control...... All they need inside is a radio.

The badges being together like that seem odd too. Usually they will have one badge in the upper left or right corner not two in the middle.
From what you're telling me about the plates and the lights I would bet you that it is a fake. ( I know this stuff from hanging out with the cops on lunch break at my firehouse)
The more I look at the more it seems fake. I wouldn't worry about getting a ticket from him/her. Cool loking though.
It's definetly not real. Those badges can bought at 50resto.com
