Was the new Foosestang what you expected? good or bad?

Did it look too much like the other Foose? or a saleen?

I thought it spent too much time on the claying up of the mockup.

Wanted more time on the engine mods, interior mods?

Do you think it is really a Big brother to the GT500E???

I don't think it's a big brother to the gt500e, but i like it better than saleen or roush, but then again i think it's hard to improve on the stock design. They did spend too much time on the clay, they didn't even go into the hood or the interior stuff! the camera crew probably just didn't show up those days

I expected a little more from Foose. And I would say the only thing linking the GT500E and the Stallion is Foose. Not a whole lot more.

PS: Time to let Elenor go.

I generally like Foose's work but I haven't been impressed in the least with any of his work on the S197's. He need to create something spectacular and not a conglomeration of other people's ideas

I think it's just hard to improve on the stock design, all the aftermarket efforts just don't stack up in my opinion

I thought the car looked good. I think paint colors really make or break some of his designs. Fortunately, he picks great color combinations.

Foose has gotten some flak from these boards lately. I really like what he does, and feel he is an amazing talent. Like him or not, he is the hottest thing going in the car business right now. I am glad he is focusing some much attention on the new Mustang. He could have choosen a Corvette to work with......

The guys over at GM have to cringe evertime an ad for Rides comes on. It really shows what they are missing out on. These are great times for Mustang fans.

i think he could have done more but it would have taken away from the mustang. even the car he won the riddler with was amazingly clean, and the mustang has good clean lines unlike alot of cars today that have extras tacked on. and his the hood is one of the best on the S197. IMO

Anybody know if he uses parts from other companies for the grille and the hood. Grille looks like a CDC one http://www.classicdesignconcepts.com/catal...isplay/636.html,

and hood looks like the one from profinish-proglass.com http://www.profinish-proglass.com/Mustangfront.htm (the one used by Fang)

Went to the 3d Carbon web page and didn't see anything that looked like the foose hood or the grille.

Actually, the Foose car is the big brother to the 500e as both Foose and Unique Performance made/designed both cars. The Cervini's is the pretender as far as rightful heirs... that said the Cervini's still looks good to me.

Foose and Unique may be involved but that doesn't make the stallion and 500E two versions of the same thing. They simply have the same builders. Design wise they are quite different. Cervini's is the realization of the 500E in S197 guise(sp).

I didn't say they were two versions of the same thing. Just that it would make more sense that it is the "bigger brother" of the 500e. I have no problem with either car but you are correct in that the Cervini's is the S197 version of the 500e.

I say that Foose did a great job on the Stallion...it's not a big bro to Eleanor, because it looks way better than Eleanor...it has a clean and simple design, like most of his cars...It was more that what I expected.
