The one thing I don't particular like is the Cobra emblem positioned over on the driver's side of the grille.

Call me picky - ok, I'm picky - but the darn thing should be in the center of the grille like God intended Mustang/Cobra emblems to be.

Is it me, or does it appear (at least in this small pic) that the clear lense is gone over the headlamps? I hope so. I like it both ways, but I think it would look better without.

Also, seeing that the Cobra nose has a stronger resemblance to the concept and GT-R, I'm thinking the new Cobra will have the same tail lights as those two cars. Something that more closely matches the '67-'68 Shelby tail lights that ran almost all the way across the back. I don't care for those too much though. But it wouldn't keep me from buying the car. :nono: :worship:

Dang, i wish we could see the rear. I'm hoping for a hitch like the mule had. Where's the square box on the hood the mule had that people fell in love with.

This is it, this is the one I have been waiting for ever since I heard about a new mustang. Wednesday just seems too far away. I don't know how I'm going to be able to handle the next year.

ARGHH! I was all set to settle for a non-Shelby car then they had to come out and show this with that price tag.

I need a quarter to flip....

Here's what I want to see attached to the hoodscoop. (I know it's from the lightning) Can anyone zoom up on the Motortrend pic and tell if the scoop if functional?

Wouldn't the scoops have to be reversed?

The scoops on the M/T cover appear to have the same function as those on the '03 and '04 Cobras and do not appear to be a Ram-air type cold air induction. However, they might be so we'll have to wait and see...

What are you talking about??? Have you seen the classic Shelby's? the classic Boss's? all of the 1969 stangs? they all had their emblem off to the driver's side. I absolutely love it that way. but of course, to each their own

Actually... I would probably try and get the covers back over the lights. I would hate to clean those lights of all the dirt, BUGS, and other crap that would get in there.

... but that is just me.

I'm going crazy. I can't wait to see the whole thing! If the rest looks that good, I might have to put my 70 Mustang Convertible up for sale this summer.
