First Shelby Cobra GT500 Photo!
The red/white will be the signature color scheme of this model and we will probably see that scheme when there is an add or something of that nature for this car for the rest of our lives, much like the white/blue was back in '65. This may sound a little wierd, but I hope production stays low like I've heared it will, cause I would really love to see this car end up being the rare icon everyone hopes it will be. I'd be willing to not complain if I missed the "A-list" so they dont compromise production #'s to make extra $, cause there will be plenty of takers I promise ya. We're into page 16...this is a pretty long thread.

Then again, they are just drawings so I guess we'll still have to wait and see tomorrow

What everyones missing in the pic. is that the poster in the back ground of the red car next to a poster of a blue Shelby is the SVT Mustang/Cobra. All thats missing on the red car is the strips and the front chin spoiler, Which leds me to believe the Shelby is an option package.

True, thats the only way i see there being an svt cobra and a gt500. if the shelby is just a package upgrade with the mechanics pretty much the same. I don't really count that as two cars though, most people thought there would be two different cars with a pretty big price difference. i dont think so.

Red/White, Blue/white and White/Blue are probably locks as they are all favorite Shelby colors and have been seen in the pictures from Ford the last two days. I'm hoping for Black/Silver or gold.

That Tungsten color that's on the GT, with white stripes, would also be a knockout!

Is that the new blue? The one replacing sonic? Can you post a link or a picture of that blue if at all possible?

your wish is my command.... well, theirs actually.... this is the car that will be at the show?
ok... nevermind... I think this was a chop that I just stuck on here..... sorry fellas. I guess that's what I get for paying attention.
Hello, this is my first time writing on the message board, but a long time fan of this site. The Shelby gt 500 looks absolutly fabulous, just two problems...NO SIDE SCOOPS???? Instead of those rear windows, put nice big air intake scoops, like the old shelby's. And the tail lights should be retro shelby style, instead of the tri-bar lights, have to long signature Shelby lights. Other than that Nice job ford.
