Wow, 65K.... can you say 06 Z06. Don't get me wrong, I really like the new Shelby but for my 65K I'll go with the race car built for the street.
If you go, just bid what you are willing to pay....if you don't get it, then at least you know you didn't get stiffed. A free dinner and an up close and personal look at the Shelby sounds good to me as a consolation prize.

I got a call from my dealer today, I had been put on the 'list' some time ago. They are now accepting deposits and expect an allocation of 6. When asked for an idea of cost, was told 42-43K MSRP and a mark-up of 15K. I told him I'd get back to him. Dealer is in NJ and reputable.
