So what are people's thoughts on this as a daily driver?
I was talking to someone today and they said if I were ever to sell my car and get a GT500, it should be a weekend car and I should get a daily driver.
I mean I can understand because of the SHELBY thing and keeping the miles down as a collectible......
But dang - if I buy it, I wanna DRIVE it!
Thoughts??

I'd drive it on days it does not rain....
And since I live in the Seattle neighborhood that means I'd be lucky to only drive it on the weekends, at least during the winter months.
Now if I lived in an area that dosen't rain so dang much I'd drive it as much as possible.
To heck with spending $40+ grand and only enjoy it on the weekends.

Its not like it's an Exotic car of some sort.
I'd drive it for sure, no hesitation.
And, if they make 8-9K the first year, it won't *REALLY* be a collectible anyway ...

I would be drivin it as much as possible but to call it a daily driver I would not. If I worked closer to home heck yea, but not at my current job. I've got the blue bomber for that.

Wouldn't this be like marrying a super model and not going out?
"Where's your wife?"
"Oh, I only take her out on holidays."

Well,
I could not drive it daily. My job requires me to have a 4 door car to take clients out in and carry some large demo eqipment. ( So, I dive a 2005 Mercury Mariner Daily )
I would drive it on nices days if I knew I was going to be in the office and on weekends, erands, etc...
I would not be afrade to drive it as a daily driver though. After all, a Mustang ( Shelby or not ) was not made to be a trailer/garage Queen...
