As much as the color they chose on the GT-R is a bit bodacious, I still think that is one awesome ride. Wouldn't mind seeing the new SVT look similar with about 400HP. Talk about a hit.

400HP? why top last year's with only 10.... and be only 65 over a tuned GT?
I think they should widen the gap to a good 200hp over a stock GT. I'm thinkin' the 5.4 DOCH with a blower would be nice. If they want to keep that exclusive to the GT(40) then drop in the 5.0 Cammer and tune it to 500 naturally aspirated. (their catalog says it can be done. However, because of emissions regs and fuel consumption considerations, they'd probably be better iwth the 5.0, but drop a blower on it.... that aught to be good for 500ph detuned.

And I thought I liked power. I would like to afford one though...a mustang with the price for insurace to that of a Viper's...scary.

ok.... how about this then.... just put a v6 in the Cobra, and sell it to me for the cost of the IRS over the GT. buy back the v6, and then I'll take the difference, buy the cammer and put it in myself, and I won't tell the insurance company that it has more than 220 hp. It will be cheaper to insure than a minivan.

Unfortunately Louis.... if it were.... there are those power perverts that would use pictures like that in a way other than their intended purpose if it were to be laid out in a centerfold

Anybody know if it'll fit in the engine bay of a 99-04 stang, in case I decide to ditch my ol' 3.8L?

That reminds me, I let my salesman borrow my hardcover book on the new stang with that picture in it....

I hope the pages aren't stuck together when I get it back....

It should fit in yours Buddy. There's no difference in the size of the engine bays between the V6 and the V8 cars.
