remember a while back we were discussing the duck tail and how I wished it was shorter. then a member photo chopped an 04 cobra wing and came up with a meaner look for the mustang. I think it's funny how the chop is pretty close to what ford has done with the cobra spoiler look. I love the rear of the cobra

I can live with it, but I would have liked to seen the ducktail moulded into the deck lid as one piece, kinda like the earlier ones, also some nice quarter window louvers would have looked boss on this car. JMO!

Just a thought, but, with the ducktail the way it is, then those with GT's or V6's that like this may be able to put them on. It looks like it may use the same bolt holes as the spoiler and if someone wanted to, they may simply be able to change the entire trunklid since its only attached there.

is that like a butt tuck, or something?

Compared to the ducktails offered by the aftermarket so far, this is the best looking ducktail. It is a clean one-piece design that IMO perfectly compliments the body of the car while integrating a third brake light.

If you just stuck the GT500 ducktail on a regular GT, you'd have two third brake lights. The Cobra spoiler doesn't cover the stock GT light, but adds its own. Guess one could be covered? I love the SHELBY letters across the back! Hopefully, this car will inspire the aftermarket for those of us that can't afford the real thing, and similar parts will be available soon.
