Nice glass top, shouldn't start to leak until after a few years.

Why would it leak? It doesn't even move like a sunroof, and not all sunroofs leak.

Btw, I got to sit in the blue CDC stang w/glass roof, and the rep said they were in negotiations w/Ford to try and get the roof offered as a factory option. Rep mentioned that the roof will filter out 85% of the light/heat too. They also let me sit in it, as, up to that point, I still did not know if I could fit (6'5", 240lbs, 36" inseam). I do thankfully...

I've emailed them asking for a price. I've read rumors of the price being in the 1.5k range. I sure hope so.

Received an email back. No more than 1500 retail. 2-3 hours to install. Not bad at al, barely more than a moon/sun roof install.

I like the way the Glass Roof Looks on the Saleen Much Better than CDC's. I don't like the Heavy Black Molding around the CDC Roof. The Saleen is like the Stock Quarter Windows, Completly Frame/Moldingless.

Looks to me like the CDC gives you more window area though.

That is a lot cheaper than I had expected. Just not so sure as to what it will do to the structure of the car. That is a big piece of material they are removing....

If you see a pic or rendering of the bare chassis, including the roof structure, you'll see that they aren't removing any structural pieces. They just replace a "basically" cosmetic piece of sheet metal with glass.

Only negative that I can see is that there will probably be more wind noise.

Actually, I read in Autoweek that the glass is actually lighter and will reduce cabin noise by 6 db.
