The more I see that car, the more I love it. My only complaint would be to get the upper and lower grilles to match (i.e. change the cheesy upper grille to look like the lower one). Otherwise I think this thing rocks!

I noticed that as well, I prefer the lower grille treatment to the factory GT upper.

i think the car is perfect except for the hockey stripe should say ford 302 not just 302,
it looks to plain and empty compared to the real boss 302 stripe

I love it, I have always been a boss fan and defintely a Parnelli Jones fan. While the GT500 did not get me really excited (nice car though) and the California Special and Shelby GT-H also did not do that, the Saleen PJ one is truly my favourite !
And yes it comes at a price (who could afford a Boss 302 in 69-70 ?) and yes the grille this, the wheels that, blabla bla. Here in Belgium a regular GT convertible costs 55.000 euro !!! And the tax and insurance are very expensive.
And I fueled my fastback this weekend, 50 liters for 65 euro....still complaining gentlemen ?

Finally a rear window louver that sits flush with the roof line. Where can I get one?

Yep...if I'm going to shell out perfectly good money for a car I expect it to be a finished product. That means the grilles should match, etc. Now with that said I'm sure Ford will clean up these little inconsistencies before it goes to market.

...and I have to ask, why not just buy a Mustang over here in America and ship it to Belgium? If my calculation are correct your paying approximately $65,400 American dollars for something that sells for $32,000 in the states.

It is not that simple..... you need al the necessary paperwork, custums, VAT, by the time you finish all that, the price will be the same. Welcome to Belgium.....

Well that stinks. Just another reason I'm glad I live here and not there.

Does anyone know what Saleen's distribution plan is for the PJ Mustang? Will all Saleen dealers offer them or will they only be available in select locations? With only a 500 copy run, they might only be available direct from Saleen.

Of course, the price tag will be absurd no matter how they are distributed.

The PJ edition is the only aftermarket version of the Mustang I would be interested in if I had the extra cash. It's by far the best looking one out of all the Shelby/Roush/Steeda ect.

There's always the S281 Heritage for slightly less cash... Saw one in Tungsten today - looks great! Until I saw the ADM on it...

Yeah, sorry, no pics!

The Parnelli Jones Mustang is only producing 315HP and 305 TQ on a dyno, ouch, so much for 5.0L power.

But "5.0" sounds so good! Will Saleen offer a "fix" similar to the '99-'01 Cobras? I'd still be more than willing to own one of those if I had the money.

I forgot about the S281. I like it too. I am thinking about putting a stripe on the side of my car to go with the other stuff I have installed but I am undecided between a boss reverse C style or a Mach 1 style stripe.
