Holy cow, how can the average guy who wants up-to-date information on the new Cobra find anything in this puerile puddle of squibble-squabble! I really don't know how you can wade through all this infantile bickering to find anything useful. If you want to go back and forth on who's more "inside" SVT, EXCHANGE EMAIL ADDRESSES!!! TEXT MESSAGE EACH OTHER!!! IM EACH OTHER!!! In a world so connected, why must someone looking for REAL INFORMATION have to wade through this flaming, infantile quagmire of doo-doo!!?? Why won't Brad let me CURSE in here!!?? DANG!! Sometimes I wonder if anybody on this website is even old enough to drive! You wouldn't be able to tell by their dialogue, grammar or typing skills!

 

Jim, unfortunately, this is the rumor mill and everyone likes to chirp in w/ they're info. It's cool, IMO. The bickering can get old but it's gonna happen, regardless. Sorry if this bothers you.

As far as the average guy looking for info goes, we are all in the same boat. Untill Ford gives us something definate, I guess this is what we've got. Love it or leave it. I'm not leaving til the :cop: come and haul me off.

Just to re-affirm what crazyhorse has posted, I have info from my "source" that we should "Keep our eyes peeled for the "New SVT" in NY next month". What he implied is that it's coming from SVT's facility, as an SVT product and will NOT be wearing any Shelby badges. As far as what they specifically name it, I could care less as long as it's under 45k and above 400HP.

As far as my source goes, here's a little back-story on that:

I took 3 years of automotive design at CIA in Cleveland (competetive school with CCS in Detriot and Art Center in Pasadena) I know about 20 or 30 of the designers at any and all of the big three in Michigan. My "source" is one of the lead designers on the new mustang. (He works in the Design Center, formerly with Hau, not at SVT) Yesterday, I jokingly asked him to "tell his homey Hau Thai-Tang that I need special pricing on an '07 SVT". In his reply, he confirmed the pending unveiling of the new SVT in NY.

Anyone have a time machine I can borrow to jump ahead about 5 weeks?

Just booked a train and hotel to go to the NY auto show. I'll try to take pics and post them when I get back. Got my show tickets online for Friday 3/25. Cant wait to see that SVT Cobra!!!!

They show the the new Mustang Cobra the day after my 18th birthday. That car would make a nice BIRTHDAY GIFT(hint,hint) .I believe it is a sign from God.
I am also going to the 12 hours of Sebring on March 19th.

 

Why do they torcher us so by making us wait to long to see the unveiling? Time seems to be dragging. WHEN WILL I EVER SEE THE SVT COBRA? :bang:
