Topnotch does well....topnotch work...
Whether people like the outcome or not....
Sometimes he does quick chops for visual, or the full shebang front to back.
Him, chazcron and burningman are all on a pedistal in the photo editing world....
Thanks boys
and that pic is the 'Aston-Mustin'

Back in the early days these guys and Vyto did some phenomenal chops to keep us going while we were waiting on Ford to release the '05 GT pics. When the "Black and White Dealer Photo" hit, they had us realistic pics within hours.

I wouldn't say official rendering. I think someone saw the real thing, then created this. If you look at the gauges, they are all repeats of the clock. The speedo and tach are numberless.
I really hope that is what this is. I like the styling with the extra aluminum, clock in the center, dual climate controls, etc.
Come on Ford/SVT/HTT, throw us a bone. It is close enough. Give us a glimpse of the real thing. This site is bigger than any other and these members are bigger fans than any other. Give Brad and his members the reward for being so dedicated.

Well, the concept is being shown in ~2 weeks, Ford doesn't have alot of time to change it. You can see one or two gauges on the a-pillar. Plus, the car Motor Trend saw looked alot like that...

?Not sure what you are trying to say. The car in this vid is a test mule. It doesn't tell us anything about the Cobra's looks, performance or price.

the concept is under lock and key. They are not driving it or anything like it on the street. The car in this vid is a powertrain mule (test car). It will not look like that.

I just got my latest Car and Driver and there is a picture of the next Miata. And boy does this car look like a photochop of that car.

Good reason for that ... it is! He added some Mustang flavor to the back end of the new Miata just to "stir the pot"

Strangely (Stangly?) enough, I kinda like it. Take the Miata, add some Mustang, call it the Ford Freedom and there you've got a Solstice/Sky competitor.
The Dash looks nice. I like it except -- I dislike the A-pillar gauges. They are a hack (afterthought) for companies that are too cheap to redesign things into the gauge cluster. Doing a new hack to mimic old hacks that you'd done before, doesn't change that it's a hack. I prefer the three guages in the valley between the two sides of the dash, and use where they put the 3 gauges to boot a big boost. (IMHO).
The font chop looks pretty good. I love the concept inlets in the hood. These look too small and forward, and I liked the seams that the original had as well -- so I slightly prefer the original. It does look a little smiley, but I like the black trim (black mirrors, etc.). Remember, that photo/chop is fisheye'd (with a wide angle lens), it softens the look a lot. I suspect if it wasn't as bulgy in the middle, it would look a lot meaner.
That side chop looks really nice. Everything was just a tad overdone (common for chops). Too lowered, too big of wheels (too low profile). Too big an air dam. Too big a wheel vent. And too big a hood cowl (I prefer the concept hood with a softer bulge if necessary). But the general shape and details are very nice overall. The rear looks nice. And I like that there are hints of Austin Martin in it. Heck, if I someone made a Vantage body replacement kit for the SVT cobra, I'd be there.... (I like the stang a lot, but the vantage oozes class. Give me the took of the vantage for the price of the cobra, and lower maintenance cost and replacement parts, and I'm doing cartwheels).
One thing I'd love for them to do with the Cobra; give us the hatch from the original concept. (So much more convenient for loading golf clubs, etc.). Probably too big a change. <sigh> But I was let down that they went from the hatch to the lamer rear trunk. (For a $20K car, that makes sense. For a $35K car, you can splurge a couple hundred for a full hatch).
