I wouldn't say official rendering. I think someone saw the real thing, then created this. If you look at the gauges, they are all repeats of the clock. The speedo and tach are numberless.

I really hope that is what this is. I like the styling with the extra aluminum, clock in the center, dual climate controls, etc.

Come on Ford/SVT/HTT, throw us a bone. It is close enough. Give us a glimpse of the real thing. This site is bigger than any other and these members are bigger fans than any other. Give Brad and his members the reward for being so dedicated.
Yeah, I noticed straight away that the center gauges are repeats of the clock. But the rest doesn't look borrowed from any other vehicle I've seen...it looks completely original. Also, a tremendous amount of time and attention to detail has gone into this rendering (just look at the light, shadow and seams on everything), so it's either a fanboy with tremendous skills and a lot of time...or a rendering that someone from Ford has done to show a sense of possible direction...or to show a close-to-finished interior mockup. Or - and this could be - to leak out to gauge (no pun intended) enthusiast reactions...

I hope it's the final product...cause that looks exceptionally good...very Shelbyesque. It even shows additional controls on the steering wheel, presumably for audio.

This is Topnotch's work. The interior pic has TOPNOTCH written all over it (literally). Some of you may not remember him, but, he used to shop on here before the '05 was released. He made that Shelby pic of the concepts. His work is very good.

Why would this car have such a prominant clock? This isn't a luxury car. I bet the clock won't be there if there is one. A month ago someone chopped a clock on the dashboard just like this. However it was larger. Same size as the vents. I didn't like it but many did. This is suppose to be a sportier car than the regular gt. come on. Looks more luxury. Also, too much aluminum. I'll still take it if that's what's offered, but I just don't think so.

That wasn't the first place the clock appeared there. This pic is in the concept 05 section of the timeline.

Awww...too bad. In that case, there's no validity whatsoever to this rendering...just a wet dream. DANG, I really liked it too.

And to those of you who don't like the luxury touches, I say TOUGH BEANS! I know dual climate control means roughing it, but hey, deal with it!

The hood is a little too close to the GTO's scoop layout for comfort, at least for me. I'm sort of undecided on the interior. There's not enough detail for me to decide whether I like the gauge cluster (big part of the interior for me).

Is it just me, or are there too many darn circles on the interior. The more and more I look at it, I don't like it. I prefer the current GT's interior over this rendering

?Not sure what you are trying to say. The car in this vid is a test mule. It doesn't tell us anything about the Cobra's looks, performance or price.

Give that thing hips and you've got a DB9.

OBleedingMe, just as a point of order ... that hood on the render is pretty much identical to the hood from the concept version of the new Mustang. GTO scoops came much later.

Topnotch does well....topnotch work...
Whether people like the outcome or not....

Sometimes he does quick chops for visual, or the full shebang front to back.

Him, chazcron and burningman are all on a pedistal in the photo editing world....

Thanks boys

and that pic is the 'Aston-Mustin'

:notnice: IMO

Actually, I don't mind this chop. I just think it's to smooth looking. Kind of takes away from the retro look to me.
