In the August issue of MM&FF there is an article on Saleens 20th Anniversary where they mention that the last of the 04 Special Edition S281's are all sold out. They continue to say that Saleen has already started work on a NEW 05 that will be out Later this year! I know there expensive but it's gonna be fun to see what they come up with.

 

well im not a fan of cheese grators on wheels... so it makes not difference to me but thanx for the info anyways.

 

Whatever they do, I just hope its tastefully done, and not too much bling-bling.

 

Saleen designed the GT-R. I would guess you will see some of its DNA in this one.

 

A car from Saleen would be nice if they make it look more like Twister's photoshop.

Well, whatever they do to the 05, I'm sure that it will look good. I've always loved the Saleens, and I'm sure that they will continue to make great cars.

 

I don't like the Saleens too much... well, except for the engine... I'd rather find the rest of my own body/perf parts myself and put them on... cheaper and more custom... and probably would look much better.
