this weekends landscapes and architecture

I don't do much architecture photography, but I was asked to take a picture of our new building at work, so I spent some time there saturday afternoon. Today I went out to Kanon Dume and brought the long lens for some landscapes. The last shot, the 800mm shot I had to cut through alot of haze, so the colors came out looking like they are from the 70's.

Nice work, you're a master at capturing landscapes.

One comment--your new building has great shapes/colors, but the bright blue sky
almost seems a bit distracting from it's muted tones.

I had wondered about the building. I desaturated the yellows quite a bit, because the yellow from the sun was making the building look very yellow. I'll try pushing some of that color back in :-)

You just can do wonders with a ridgeline and a few clouds.
