We're working not far from the Flaming Gorge Reservoir here in Utah / Wyoming, and I thought you guys might like some photos. This is 3.8 million acre feet of water, probably 60 miles long, and 400+ feet deep near the dam. It's kinda scenic, too.

Gorgeous area! I live about a mile from a large river system here in central AL. Been on the water all my life in some form or fashion. Havent been boating and fishing as much as I used to though. My fire department is in the process of trying to get a fire / rescue boat and if so, I will most likely be one of our guys going through coast guard certification process as an operator.

I used to do some fishing for leisure. It's been 9 years I think.

 

Someone say fishing? Caught this baby last year, that's my brother holding it. He landed it so my hands weren't fishy to take the pic.

 

I love fishing. Im not any good at it but I love sitting out by the river with a fishing pole and a cold beer

 

Where did you land that baby? Pike or Muskie?

 

Muskie! Up in the chain of lakes in Antioch IL. (muskie have vertical stripe, pike have horizontal stripes) See? You learn something every day! It was somewhere around 36"-38". We catch and release for the fun of the catch. Besides, get to catch em' another day, hopefully bigger! My brother is a fishing nut, even goes to tourneys.
