Question Looking for a shop to lower my car...

Hey guys! Looking for a shop to lower my car in the Denver/Aurora area. Since there are shops that charge an arm and a leg I am looking for one that is reasonably priced and does a good job at the same time.

Any recommend places???

Thanks in advance!

Did you just get springs or did you get shocks and struts also? Its a pretty straight forward job most any shop could do as long as they have an alignment rack.

If you are doing shocks/struts and springs I would get new bolts and do it myself. You won't need a spring compressor. Then take it to a shop for an alignment.

any place that does shocks would be able to do it for you. I would think for around 400. Call sears or pepboys if you have them in the area and see if they will install your parts.

Is this guy near by?

Gary at Wheat Ridge Auto (44th and Garrison, I believe) is great to work with (rather quiet, but don't take that as anything negative), very reasonable (never overcharges) and owns a Pantera and a Viper (or at least did). Been taking my cars there for 15+ years.

You DO need a spring compressor to get the OEM spring off the front strut, though not so necessary with putting a new shorter spring in. I rented mine from Autozone, very cheap. Pain in the butt to do without air tools, but it's possible.
