I use a a set of X-Ice for winter driving in Maine...they are stellar. They really make a drastic difference in driveability and traction.

I had no problems driving on ice nor 6 inches of unplowed snow with X-Ice tires on my GT.

Any Trouble with TPMS

They look pretty good on your Pony. I also live on Coloradao front range and will be needing snow tires for my 2007 Pony Package.

Does your 2007 have the Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) ? I think all 2007's have it.

About how much was it for all 4 wheels and tires ?

THanks

I don't have the sensors in my tires...they were left in the stock wheels and tires. I got mine at Discount for just over 800 dollars for all...good luck.

if any still have the P-Zero on them you will be all over or worse , slid off the road or banged up , they are soft rubber for dry road only, why Ford ever stuck them on beats me oh COST deal on a bulk purchase or perhaps a pocket liner, but the g-force BF-Goodrich they have now work a lot better, but still not a winter tire.

Is there a way to disable the TPMS so that the warning does not come on ?

If it cannot be disabled does it stay on all the time ?

I dont think there is a way to do it that would be worth it for the three of four months. The worst that I have to deal with is a beep and warning at startup, I just hit Reset and it goes back to my odometer.

Thanks, that is what I needed to know. That sounds OK, I was just concerned that maybe there would be no way to turn the warning off.

Did you get to try out the tires in the snow yet ?

winter driving

If you guys want the ticket to getting around in the snow you have to have T-LOK !

What other ford rims will fit the 06 Mustang?
I want to get a set of four plain 16 in spare tire style steel rims for a
few month of winter driving.
Its the salt I`m afraid of on my 5 spoke aluminium wheels

Traction Lok differential, both rear wheels work together not just one.
Your V6 Mustang doesn`t have it unless you put it in aftermarket.
GT gets it as standard.

X2. Those P Zero Neros are horrible in the winter. I got a decent price on some Dunlop Graspics last year and was impressed with the GT's winter skills. Just don't run with the Traction control on unless you don't know how to drive. It will slow down your acceleration immensely.
