I have a MAC CAI on my '98 Mustang and it makes, IMHO, an annoying whistling sound when I put my foot on the throttle (especially in on a cold morning).

Anyone know if any of '05 kits do NOT make such a sound? I think the sound is the result of replacing the stock tube (baffle?) with a shiny chrome one (which eventually rusts inside :notnice: ).

I was looking at the AFE in particular, anyone know if and where where I can buy one from?

That noise is the intake sucking in all the air into that bigger filter.

 

Ok, so all the '05 kits will do the same?

Anyone know which is the quitist?

 

I mean the more sound, the more air, the better right?
