Weird Problem When Shifting Into Reverse

What's up guys? My names John and this is actually my first post here. I've been lurking for nearly a year but havent got around to posting. Anyway, I have a satin silver v6 coupe and recently got a C&L intake and xcal2 from Doug at BamaChips. Everything Ive read at this site seems true and it definately seems to wake the car up. However, I ran into a problem when I try to change the shift firmness using the xcal2. I set the firmness to 10% and drove around for awhile just to feel the change, and it definately seemed to shift slightly harder. However, the problem began when I put the car into reverse to back into my garage. The car shifted really hard into reverse, jerked, and stalled. Also, it set off the check gas cap light which I thought was very weird. I checked the gas cap and it was fine. The car started up fine but still jerks and stalls or comes very close to stalling when I shift into reverse. Its really disconcerning so i set the firmness back to 0. I hate to leave it like that because I really liked the firmer shifts. I did a search here and didnt see anyone else with this problem. Is it somethign im doing wrong or do I have a bigger problem on my hands? Any help would really be appreciated.
John

Ya the first thing I did was shoot Doug an email. I just wanted to see if anyone here had any idea what might be going on.

Doug is so easy to work with and generally gets back to you very quickly.
