I was purusing the local Ford Dealer's web site and happened upon an item on a window sticker called a "V6 Performance Package", at first glance I chalked it off as a "Pony Package." But didnot see it listed on other vehicles equiped with the Pony Package. Has anybody ever heard of this?

I have that on my sticker, I thought it was combo of anti-lock brakes and traction control because at the bottom it says V6 Preformance Package -775.00
I just thought preformance was just the wrong spelling. But I noticed it on other window stickers too.
I could be wrong though.

One guys told me it was for duals and the CAI. Not sure if he knew what he was talking about though.

Ah ha, the -$775 is the give away. That's a Premium Discount and not a performance upgrade. The ABS/traction control discount is -$775 and is option code 20D.

Nothing exciting, except you saved $775 dollars.

I think its the same thing there doing with the GT's. I think they now offer a performace package for the V6. Consists of CAI,factory performace tune, and exhaust all under warrenty I believe

If they do that on the '08s, I wonder how much Ford would charge for just the CAI and Tune on an '07?
