V6 Mustang: Turbocharger vs. Supercharger?

Good Morning!
I was talking to a guy at a local shop, and we began to discuss the 2011 V6 Mustang. The ads tout it as having 305 horsepower, which is impressive for a V6. I would like to boost things a bit for my 2008 V6. He suggested a turbocharger; I was thinking of a supercharger. What are the pros and cons of each? I don't intend to race; I just want to have more power if/when needed.
Many thanks,
Fritz

on the lowest boost setting, with only 8* of timing, my car still put down 355rwhp and 406rwtq on 8.8psi with a 61mm turbo. on 12psi with 12* timing on 100 octane fuel it put down 454rwhp and 515rwtq.

all this on the stock engine.

my votes for turbo

Explorer express Xcharger supercharger is impressive looking and makes decent power. No intercooler yet although they were working on one and that would let it make lots more power on pump gas.

Either one will make the car substantially faster although my understanding is that a turbocharger is not as hard on your engine internals as a supercharger is.

Turbo! You can stay out of boost that way(depending on how you've got it tuned, turbo size, etc.) and keep things nice and gentle until you want some power. Your gas mileage won't suffer too bad this way, either.

turbo is the way to go for big power. not to mention how awesome the turbo sounds when its spooling up.
