Are these tires decent??
I just got my take-off Ford 17 x 8 wheels and I was wondering if these were decent tires.

I was just gunna go with the Pirellis that come with the 17x8's for $118 a tire but I noticed the nitto's for about $5.00 more and the tread looks like they would give a little more performace.
What do you guys think? Has anyone had them before? I've had my car for about 14 months and I put on 14,500 miles a little over a year

245/45-17s are too short, and would look pretty goofy, plus throw-off your speedometer.
The perfect tire size for a 17"x8" rim is 255/50-17. I have the Hankook 255/50R17s, and the advantage is that they give the 8" wide rim pretty good curb protection, while being the exactly correct diameter. Cost is about $100 per tire, and it is a nice classic 50 series look.

How much would i need to lower the car for it to look good? And how much is a lowering kit and meybe fazm could do the labor. Great here we go! man I just wanted tires lol this kinda sucks lol
