Traction control does not come standard on the V-6. I was in one w/out the IUP last week and it did not have the TC button. I think you have to get a premium to have it.

No...t-lok, it's ford's version of a limited slip/"posi-trac" rear end. It's always been standard on GT's, and not avail on the v6's, no idea about the 05's though.

no, you can't get limited slip on the V6 stang, only the GT. one more reason to buy the GT.

I think it's an option on both the V delux & Premium. But it does come standard on the GT's.

Cheers mates

Last I remember (don't quote me) its not an option at all.

You can however get one for the 7.5 rear end either through ford racing or aftermarket. (guys have done this for years with their V6s. I just never got around to.

Most guys get the TLock and Gears done at the same time.

I installed a Traction-Lok in my '04 before it even had a 100 miles on it !! Also added Quad-Shocks and primered & painted complete axle assemby while I had it out.

One-wheel peel was pretty bad in my previous '98 with 150 HP and a 2.73 ratio axle, yet it took me a couple of years to finally do it to it. With 193 HP and a 3.27 ratio, the '04 was that much worse. Now this '05 with 210 HP and a 3.31 ratio axle, I would be swapping in T-Lok just as fast.
