I am in the process of trying to pick a 255 50 17 tire to replace the tires that come on the car I am about to recieve( see sig). I am recieving a 300 dollar credit from a local tire dealer for the pirelli 235 55 17's that come on the car.
I have been researching tires and reviews on tire rack and few other sites...it is becoming very frustrating as far as tread width( NOT CENTER SECTION WIDTH). Some tires give that spec and some dont.
I am presently looking at the Bridgestone Potenza RE750 or the BF Goodrich KDWS. The Potenzas are 8.2 inches
Does anyone know the stock treadwidth for the pirellis that come on the car? I want to compare to see how much I will gain. I also need the tread width for the BFG KDWS's.................Thanks in advance, Dave
