A co-worker of mine just got a new limer stang, with the Steeda package???? She said it had the authentic Steeda certificate and hers was number 109 I think. She is a mustang fan and after driving, said she had to have the Steeda Stang over the GT. It's a V6, I havent peeked under the hood but from the pictures she showed me, it has the following:

-Steeda Wing
-Steeda Wheels
-Steeda Decals/Emblems
-Steeda Exhaust (single, but nice crome pipe out the back)

I'm jazed that we are starting to see V6's with performance packages like this. Now all we need is that Shelby we heard about, and Roush and Saleen to jump on. The new V6 stangs are real sleepers, and I think we will finally see a true market for them.

Anyway, I asked her if she can get some spec's on the car. I really want to know what they did to it. The Salesman actually steered her away from the GT! Hard to believe. Oh, and get this, she says she never sees the car, her finance' is always driving it.

 

is it pretty clear she chose it from the test drives (performance wise) or more of a look decision?
I'm looking forward to hearing what they did to it as well
it would take a good power adder and handling package to be swayed away from a GT! (considering the price was similar)

 

She had a 95 GT before the 05, and said she drove both, but was really suprised by the 6's performance, and with the Steeda mods, didn't see enough of a difference to justify the cost. More of a bang for your buck decision. She also said it came with a CAI tune. She is getting the details for me shortly.
