Go for the gusto, Becky. You can't beat the sound and appearance of a good dual exhaust system.

There isn't a single exit exhaust that sounds good. Only dual.

Not that the Mustang's is bad... but most sound like sputtering vacuum cleaners.

I dualed out the Muskrat.. just had a Y pipe added past the firewall, and Thrush CVX's under the seats, and pipe to the end... sounded great.

Do it. You'll like it better.

/get a GT bumper or something, though so it looks right too.

I have the M-5230-GTA exhaust from Ninosport. It's the single exhaust system, from the same exhaust that they have on the Shelby GT and GT-H. It has a deep rumble to it (way better than the Flowmaster that I had before) and sounds throatier in my ears. Give Chuy from Ninosport a call, he does not always list the exhaust on the website.

I have a single gt manual trans take off on mine planed to go duals and have been collecting everything for it but sounds great only takes less than an hour to put on picked up 2 mpgs not sure if i'm going to do all the work just to have another pipe stick out in the rear. I'd say pick up a set put one on for now and you can always go duals later or if you dont like em resell em. I got mine for around 40 something shipped. Bought them on ebay off a guy who upgraded his roush at the dealer. snowed last week so havent been driving the mustang drove it yesterday forgot how much louder it is. And yes I know loud my super duty has a straight pipe

If your looking for the sound of a gt, then save your money.
All V6's have a different sound then the bigger brother V8's
You can make your v6 sound good with Flowmaster, Magnaflow, JBA and some other companies, but will never sound like the v8

I'm the one that sent you a IM last week!
I wish you the best,
Denny

I concur with this but I've gotta say one thing. My wife's V6 with a GT system including stock GT mufflers sounds very much like a V8. I was totally shocked and pleasantly surprised when we fired it up the first time. The odd thing is from the inside, it still sounds like a V6 but from outside, it sounds really good.

Ok......

Thanks for all the advice......I will quit asking so many questions now, LOL! I went and talked to a new muffler guy here in town and he said he would go with a Flowmaster set as well as whomever left that last comment above this one. Thanks for all the advice!
