Short throws extinct?
Besides mgw for 300 bucks and super rare hurst mv6. I know steeda used to make short throw shifter block. Has anyone prefabed their own? Even just the handle?

MGW is the only one left that I know of for the 2005-2010. I grabbed a Ford Racing/Hurst Competition Plus on closeout some years ago for $110 at CJ Pony Parts and I am glad I did. It's a different beast altogether with that shifter. I recommend finding one of them on the used market of going with the MGW, folks seem happy with those.

Shifter Block?
What is it you are looking for ..... a short throw shifter for a 2005 or 2010 Mustang maybe?
I love our Hurst Competition plus billet shifter.

I'm not really sure what the OP is referring to shifter block If he's looking into upgrading to short throw shifters? I would highly recommend MGW followed by Barton and Hurst Competition Billet+ as my top 3 choices.

^^ Saleen Shifter Block: https://www.ebay.com/itm/28398596876...BoCEEQQAvD_BwE
Back in the day, just about the time MGW introduced it's short throw shifter, Saleen had this shifter block. I used it for awhile. Its nothing like a real short throw shifter but it did reduce and stiffen the throw a bit. And you get to keep your stock shifter if that's your thing. Oh BTW, I'm not sure if it works on a 4.0L V6.
