Short throw V6 shifter?

I'm looking for a good short throw V6 shifter, we have tried the steeda sport shifter, but it didn't do much. And the hurst has a very non-stock look to it. Are there any other options?

Check Pro 5.0 Paul. Not sure if they offer one for the V6 but I like my GT one.

With our Hurst unit, you can change sticks to one that you like. There are many different stick choices you can use in the Hurst catalog. I know atlanticspeed.com is running a good special on the V6 hurst shifters right now. Or, if I can help you further just let me know

Sure you can use the stock boot. The thread pattern on the stock **** is the same as the Hurst thread pattern, but honestly I don't think it would look right with the stock **** on there.

Well, using the stock boot and shift ****, it will look exactly like a stock shifter, just with the hurst underneath, thats what we are going for. Am i correct?

Yeah you could do that. The Hurst stick is designed to be exposed with the gromment that comes with the shifter to hold the boot in place. But, I suppose you could just put the boot back up in its original location and it should be fine

no the hurst stick is longer...you would just need to use the stock stick and boot/****

The chrome hurst stick does not work with the stock ****. The shorter black hurst stick works, but its a shorter stick.

you are correct. The hurst stick works with the Hurst ****, not the stock one.

Could the shifting feel be different since the GT uses a different transmission?

I added the Saleen short shifter block to my stock shifter on my V6 and it helped it out alot.
I like the look of the factory shifter but it still did not have the feel I was looking for.
I finally switched the shifter out to the Hurst and I am glad I did.
