HI guy

I bought that 3m vinyl head light kit to protect my investment but I am looking at the headlights and they have Light scuffs on them. Is there any why to get them out? maybe a LIGHT buffing compound?

I would not worry about it but I just got them back together do to the fact I pulled the all apart to have that inside bucket painted(like the prototypee roush) and I think allot of people will be looking at them and I want them to be as clear as possible

Toothpaste and your finger is pretty mild. A little water to thin it down too.

Man, my dad had this paste stuff that he used on his helmet visor when he drove a moter-bike in the early 70's. Fast forward to late 80's when I used to ware swatch-watches.... Mine got so scuffed I could not tell the time anymore. So my dad dug out this stuff in the garage and told me to start rubbing. I'll be damned, the watch looked brand new about about 15 minutes of rubbing.

I'll ask him what it was called... if he can remember and if it is still made. But with that said start looking into Helmet Visor cleaners/scuff removers.

Maybe something like this?

CLEAR PLASTIC CLEANER #17

A non-abrasive, non-alcohol cleaner that safely removes dust, salt spray & hairline scratches from delicate clear plastics. Great for use on all clear plastics, convertible windows, helmet visors, motorcycle windscreens, instrument panels and light covers. Follow with Clear
Plastic Polish #10 for a fantastic like-new shine.

I'd recommend Novus #2 (or #3 id the scratches are deep).

They specialize just in plastic polishes for aquariums, display cases, etc and their products are great. Novus Website
