SCT Tune: Can I see results with MPG increase?

I am about to order the SCT Tune that has two performance settings and one economy tune, I am wondering what I can expect as far as HP and MPG gains. Please help. OH and I will be getting the Steeda CAI as well. Thanks.

I have a 07 V6 Auto

I have the SCT from Brenspeed, a MAC CAI and dual Magnaflow exhausts. My 2005 V6 Auto got between 32-33 mpg on a recent 604 mile trip. You should be impressed with the mileage gains.

One question I have is do I have to use 93 octane gas after the tune?

Depending on any problems you may have with the car, the dealer may try to blame the tune or CAI. Then starts the battle of them having to prove these mods caused the issue. My car has the fuel pump issue that Ford has a TSB on. They couldn't figure out what the issue was when my car was still under warranty. Now that it isn't under warranty, yet they now know it is the fuel pump, they are trying to say it is from my Tune and CAI so they will not replace it unless I pay to have it replaced.

My friend and I installed the CAI, SCT X3 tune, I really notice a difference!

The sound is amazing!
Also did the rear blackout panel and clear turn signals.

Will take pics tomorrow.

It was 32 mpg between Edmonton, Alberta and Penticton, B.C. some level highways (32) and some mountain roads (26-28) at or near the speed limit. If you doubt what I am saying come out to Edmonton and we can go for a drive. If the computer indicates between 31.3 and 32 who am I to argue with the computer?

I also have gotten 33+ MPG from Houston to Dallas and back. I have a SCT XCal 2, and that was on a 87 octane torque tune.

Thumbs up

The best I have done so far is 36 mpg on a mini road trip.
Cruising at 50 mph, 91 oct fuel, ford racing cai, ford procal tune and dual exhaust.

Boy you guys weren't kidding! I've seen a 2-3 MPG gain since the install. I've been cruising round town with rare highway driving at 20.9 MPG. Highway MPG I've seen 23-24. The throttle response is amazing just by advancing the timing a bit. This thing pays for itself in no time.
